The Grange International Preschool (TGIP) has been accredited with the Platinum Tier as a Healthy Preschool by the Health Promotion Board of Singapore. TGIP is one of 643 preschools to achieve this Premium accolade. More than 2,500 infant care, childcare and kindergartens island-wide have participated in this accreditation.
The Platinum accreditation distinguishes preschools that made efforts beyond the basic requirements of the Healthy Pre-Schools (HPS) Accreditation Framework amongst students and staff.
This initiative aims to galvanise the community of preschools to enable development of good health habits such as nutrition, physical activity and social-emotional development. The criteria for Healthy Pre-Schools (HPS) Accreditation Framework include having a supportive environment, targeted intervention to ensure a healthy lifestyle, and having the capacity to fully integrate health promotion within and outside of school activities.
TGIP is proud to have achieved this within a year of its operation.
